Léla Groom grew up in Seattle, WA, immersed in a thriving arts community from a young age. She received her early training from the Preparatory Dance Program at Cornish College of the Arts, and the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance. She holds a BFA in Dance from Arizona State University, where she performed extensively. She had the pleasure of working with artists such as Mary Fitzgerald, Karen Schupp, Jenny Showalter, and Britta Peterson, among others. After graduating Summa Cum Laude, she relocated to New York City, where she is working as a freelance dancer and collaborator. Léla is currently a member of Treeline Dance Works.
